About the Solicitors in this firm
There are two qualified Solicitors in this firm, Graham Halliday & Mark Groom. Graham qualified as a Solicitor in 1981 and Mark qualified in 1986. They met in 1983 and have worked together on and off ever since, becoming business partners when this firm was formed in 2011. Before that Graham worked in his own firm and Mark was a partner in a Winchmore Hill Law firm for 23 years. Mark obtained a social science degree and then passed the Solicitors final exam. After that he was in a training contract for two years at an east London law firm that specialised in criminal defence work. He started to specialise in conveyancing, wills and probate after he qualified. Graham trained as a Solicitor for 5 years before qualifying and initially worked as a criminal defence and civil litigation solicitor. He has specialised in conveyancing and wills and probate for the past twenty years.
Graham and Mark have over 60 years of collective experience in in all matters relating to conveyancing and property transactions and have helped thousands of people sell or buy their home. They also deal with wills, probate and estate administration and have expertise in high value estates and inheritance tax. They both spend most of their time dealing with these two work areas which form the core of the firm’s workload. The firm is a traditional partnership, it finds its clients by recommendation from other clients and doesn’t advertise for work using the internet or social media.
Either Graham or Mark may work for you. They are very ably assisted by the firms paralegal Kari Beharrell who may help with your work and is always supervised by whichever of the two partners has responsibility for your work.
